Denver Mile High Rotary Rafting Trip

On Saturday, July 9th, over 40 Rotarians, family members, and INTERACT students braved the chilling white water of Clear Creek on a rafting trip with Denver Mile Hi Rafting company. Although a couple members of the group did go for a brief swim, no one was injured and we all survived the adventure. Rotarian, their children and grandchildren enjoyed the experience. The weather was beautiful, the ice-cold water was invigorating and the experience was thrilling! After rafting, most of us met at Beau Jo's in Idaho Springs for an all you can eat pizza buffet and salad bar. Fread Solheim, the founder of Warriors on Cataract, was our guest for lunch and we presented him with an initial check contribution of $1,000. The final proceed from this FUNdraising event, including contributions, discounts and rebates will total just over $2,000. Thank you to everyone who supported or participated in this event!!!
