Dear Fellow Rotarians,
If you missed our breakfast meeting on June 30th, President Carolyn did an excellent job of recognizing the many members who contributed to making the Rotary year 2009-2010 such a huge success. She honored Don Elliott, and paid tribute to the history of women in Rotary. She also acknowledged to significant contributions by our club members to Rotary District 5450. Most notably, she recognized Melanie Gentz as the Denver Mile High Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year!
As your new President, I presented Carolyn with her Past President's pin and a small gift, as a token of our appreciation. I also introduced the leadership team for the 2010-2011 Rotary year. President Carolyn did an excellent job of leading and inspiring our Rotary club this past year. As the old saying goes, "She will be a tough act to follow", but I will do my best!
