Weekly Meeting

Dave Johnson is a local zookeeper, conservationist, and children's book author.  He has been here in Denver with our community for over 17 years working with pachyderms at the local zoo.  Dave started a group called Team Nepalorado back in 2010, and they travel over to Nepal doing conservation initiatives with rhino, elephant, and tiger.  He has been over six times and will be returning with 20 people in December.  After the massive earthquakes that rocked the region, they will be concentrating on humanitarian efforts as well as continuing their work with the endangered species of the area.
